The amount of money a student receives for a CBSE merit scholarship depends on the type of scholarship:

• CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child This scholarship provides ₹500 per month for a maximum of two years. The scholarship is for single girl students who pass the CBSE Class 10 exam with at least 60% marks and continue their education in CBSE-affiliated schools. 
• CBSE Scholarship for Class 10 and Class 12This scholarship provides ₹12,000 per year for students who pass the Class 10 or Class 12 exam from a CBSE-affiliated school with at least 85% marks.
